Mason's acheivments

Mason spends time daily practicing his alpabet. This shows great wisdom I think. However we just went to his 9 month check up and he doesn't play peek a boo or patty cake or walk around furniture or wave or say mom and dad. He also had seriously infected ears (no wonder he has been so cranky the last month!). I felt like crying. I think they must have been looking at the 12 month checklist, because I think he is brilliant. So here are the millions of things he CAN do
Army crawl, practice getting on his knees, sit, splash, make a million variations on raspberry sounds, eat, feed himself, smile, tease Rylie, hug, kiss (very wet kisses), roll, climb over things and beg for mom.

I've decided that each speech therapist mommy has to freak out about their kids' development at some point or another. We just know too much about it! So, here is your official reminder: each kid is an individual and learns in his own style and pace, and YOU are the expert on your child! He's beautiful, he's growing, and maybe he's following in a parent's footsteps-people are surprised that my little one isn't walking but I'm not because both my hubby and I were late walkers. Okay, enough of my soapbox! :)

You crack me up, and yes I think they were look at the 1 year old stuff. Otherwise Tate was behind also. I am sorry to hear about his ears, as you know we have had that battle, it is do hard to know when they are really infected and when you are just going to put money towards the Dr's boat!
