Stitches and more

The week before Christmas and the day before our family pictures Rylie fell and cut her eyebrow open. She said she was getting her energies out and started running around the living room when she tripped and hit the edge of our coffee table. She was very brave and didn't really even cry. We tried to make it sound adventurous to get stitches and she liked that. Look at that smile during the sewing.

7 beautiful stitches right along her eyebrow, just like her Dad's eye.
We made these cute reindeer cookies before Christmas. They were really fun and easy.

PS-The kids are wearing their hats and jackets because we had no heat in our house for a week (the week it snowed everyday). It is finally fixed and now we Thank our Heavenly Father for heat everyday in our prayers. It was miserable. I had friends invite us over to their houses, but I had so much to do for Christmas I needed to stay home. The kids watched a lot of TV so I could keep them wrapped up in blankets to stay warm.

The no heat thing is horrible!! I don't think you should have to pay rent for that week. Bryson had to get stitches in his chin the night before his very first school pictures. It's super fun!!!

sorry about the stitches and the lack of heat. The cookies are cute, but the kiddies are cuter! Hope your Christmas was fantastic!
