Halloween 2012

It seems like there are so many opportunities to dress-up around Halloween.  Sometimes the kids alternate costumes and sometimes they use the same one the whole time.  Here is what we started out with at the Trunk or Treat at church.
Mason as Batman

Rylie as a Witch
Zach as Superman (with fireman boots!)
Tirzah as a Pumpkin
Twin Batmans!!
Awesome face painting by some friends in our ward.
Here is the annual pumpkin carving extravaganza!!
This is a team effort to get this big thing scraped out.

Hard at work with more scraping.

These are the daytime faces.
Then at night we turn the pumpkins around and light them for the nighttime faces.
They turned out awesome once again!
Mason's vampire.
Rylie's owl
Zach's Hotel Transylvania

Here we are just about to go trick or treating around the neighborhood.  Some of them changed costumes so they could wear warmer clothes underneath.  It was a chilly night.
Mason stayed with Batman.
Rylie changed to a cowgirl.
Zach changed to Buzz Light Year
Tirzah stayed with the pumpkin.
My dad has a hidden talent most people don't know about-he comes up with the best Halloween costumes.  This year he was the mad scientist.  He finds things you would never think about to use for a costume, things my mom didn't know they had!  She shared this picture of him on his way to their ward party.
