Disneyland

Grandpa Harris
We almost got the whole family on one Dumbo.

Rylie saw the Teacup ride on our way to the Princesses and was almost more excited about going back and riding it than seeing the princesses. She loved the rides. We will have to go at a none summer time to get more rides in next time.

Rylie loved Minnie Mouse. She ran up to her and gave her a big hug. Mason screamed in terror when she tried to pat him on the head. I've never seen him so scared.

Jacob's Dad Jake and Bonnie were the perfect tour guides through Disneyland. They have had lots of experience being there and were good enough to stand in line and save us places so we could get more rides in.
We had a great time at Disneyland. I learned some things and want to pass them on to whoever reads this. Two years old and older is a good age to take. Mason is not walking and was confined to the stroller or our arms for the entire day. That is no fun for an energetic 1 year old. He did enjoy It's a Small World and the other rides he went on, but waiting in line for 30 minutes or more was not fun. Taking the front/back double stroller as opposed to the side by side stroller was a good decision. Rylie could ride when we wanted to walk fast to get somewhere and it was skinny to manuever around people and into buildings. Having extra people to wait in lines was a bonus. One day was good enough for a two year old, but would barely skim the surface for older kids and adults.

What a blast! Rylie will not soon forget your trip, I am so glad that you were able to go. Mason will enjoy it more next time probably. Izzy keep s asking to play with 'that girl we went swimming with at Ryans hotel'- if you feel like another road trip. . .
