Chrismas with the Gneitings

It was an extra special treat for us to be in Idaho this year on Christmas. The original plan was to spend this Christmas at our own home and then travel to Idaho the next day. When we moved to New Mexico that all changed. We had to be in Utah for the Harris party on Saturday and then just continued on to Idaho for the rest of the week. In five years of marriage we haven't missed one at my house, pretty amazing.
Carson and Tanner took Rylie and Mason sledding on Christmas Eve. Mason only lasted for one trip around, but Rylie went and went. You can see on her face how much she enjoyed it.

Part of our Christmas Eve program was the Nativity skit. I was in charge of organizing it and as I roamed my mom's house I was amazed at how she had just the right stuff for costumes and props, check out Joseph's staff. Rylie was a very serious Mary and Andrew played Joseph just right. Grandpa was the narrator and did a superb job. Mary was a very serious Mary and Andrew played Joseph just right. My favorite part was Peter. He was an inn keeper and wise man alongside Carson and Tanner in those roles. I gave him his line, "No room." When Mary and Joseph came to his Inn this is what he said, "We have no room. Come in and see for yourself." with perfect gesturing and voice. It was great. Ani and Racheal were even recruited as shepards. They were not so great at their lines and had to be promped from the sideline (you would think two college grads could do the job!) Olivia was a perfect Angel and I'm not sure what Mason was, but he enjoyed riding his donkey Dad.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!!!!
What would Christmas be without kids. I get more and more excited every year. Mason loves his phone and Rylie loved everything she opened. This is how much she enjoyed it. While opening a large present she started ohing and making excited noises. When asked what it was she said, "I don't know," with great excitement.
I love their new pajamas their Nana Jul gave them.
