What we did in Idaho

We arrived in Idaho Thursday evening and only my mom and dad were there. It was a little funny to see the kids not know what to do without Olivia there to greet them. They gave Nana and Grandpa a few minutes of attention and then started looking around for their best friend. We all weren't sure what to do with them ourselves, we are so used to Olivia sweeping them away.
Then each day the bus came to take her to school left Mason with 20 minutes of tears and "I no want Livia go to school!"
Here are the sleeping beauties. Rylie LOVES sleeping with Olivia when we are there. I think she is getting less wild in bed and Olivia doesn't mind it so much anymore.
For the first time Mason got to sleep downstairs with the big boys by himself. He bunked with Carson. My mom took him down to bed most of the time and he would have her say his prayers for him.
Nana-"Mason say your prayers."
Mason-"No you do it Nana."
Then when Carson would go down to bed I think he let Mason watch Alvin and the Chipmunks while he got ready for bed. What a good uncle.
I had great plans to help mom do some projects to get ready for my sister's wedding this summer, but in the end the only thing we accomplished was some sewing. Here is Zach helping us out. He refused to watch from the floor or the swing and was much happier right up with us.
We were lucky enough to be there in time for Olivia's ballet recital and a Jazz competition. Rylie loved watching Olivia perform. Olivia was a very graceful Lily Pad in the Ugly Duckling performance.
The kids were very excited to go see Grandpa's farm, so that was one of the first things we did. There were very disappointed when we arrived and there were NO ANIMALS. From that day on they called my dad "silly grandpa" because he forgot to put animals on his farm. We did get to ride in his fancy new tractor that can drive itself and has a couple computer inside to help with planting.

When it was time to head back to Arizona we kids begged me to leave them at Nana and Grandpa's. As we drove down the road Rylie burst into tears. This has never happened at the end of a visit so I asked her what the problem was. She said she missed the puppies and wanted to go back. They still talk about the puppies and how they will see them when we go back in July. I don't know how to break it to them that Carson and Tanner want to sell them and they probably won't be there.

Maybe they will forget!
