We decided to do our own thing for Christmas this year and stayed home. It was fun to plan the activities and prepare our house for a Christmas at home. I don't usually put much effort into the tree and decorations because we are not there for the week or so of Christmas. Our tree was beautiful and our house looked great. We can't wait to try lights on the outside of the house next year. Of course we were off to Idaho the day after Christmas to enjoy some fun with family.
Here is Zach showing us how to be "soft" with the tree decorations.
I really loved my tree this year, but didn't get any great pictures. We worked on the lights for two days to get them just right and all working and then only the top 1/4 and bottom 1/4 worked the rest of the season, but neither Jacob nor I had the desire to figure out what was wrong. The morning after Christmas when we left for Idaho the whole tree was miraculously light, then when we came home it was not working again. Kind of a scrooge tree, but we still enjoyed it.

Our "angel" for the nativity reading on Christmas Eve opening his present too early.
We filmed ourselves performing the nativity and after the kids watched it they wanted to film it over again and do better.

WOW!! Puppies!! Your kidlets always told me how they wanted a pet but I didn't think it would happen so soon! That's so awesome!!! Love it!
I miss your family and we wish we were still in Gillette but we know we need to be in Idaho right now!
I think it's funny you came home with two dogs. My husband would LOVE that. Too bad I'm allergic.
Looks like a fantastic Christmas. Your kids are adorable.
AH...Can we do it all over again! That was so fun! Love the pictures.
