Nana came!

We love the week Nana spends with us after a baby is born. I insisted that she wait and come a couple weeks after instead of immediately after this time. I have lots of energy the week after and lots of people around to help, plus a great husband. A few weeks later everyone else has done their service and the husband needs to get back to work. By then I am tired, our ward meals have come and gone, the houses need some help and the kids need someone to pay them lots of attention.
As you can see-when she came she was the center of it all for a while.

She reminded us how to properly swaddle a newborn. She gave Tirzah her first real bath.

There was very little crying with the use of the in-bath towel to make her feel safe.

Tirzah received her special blanket with a silky crocheted edge from Nana (this one has a slight Spanish flare with the multicolored edge!). The the other kids all have one and they love to rub the silk edge when they snuggle in it still. She helped Rylie build a snowman. Rylie may have been a bit bossy.

She let these two do the hurricane machine at the mall.

She took these two to story time.

There was a real Easter bunny at story time!

Mason disappeared at the library for minute and this is where Nana found him.
Playing chess with a little girl in the reading nook.

Thank you so much for coming a taking such great care of us!

Congratulations on another beautiful Harris!! She is absolutely gorgeous! She has such a mature little look to her for a newborn! I hope everything went well! I think she and my Nathan would be a good match :o)

If Mason is all ready playing chess, you need to get him in some accelerated schooling. Like PEP, no wait that is just for the "special kids". -Devin
