Jacob was gone the two weeks before Father's Day and got home Saturday night. The kids were excited for him to be home just in time for his special day and decorated the driveway with his Father's Day cards. I think they have some good sidewalk art skills.
Jacob got a grill for Father's Day. We have used a little table top one we were given as a wedding gift until this last year when a mouse family move in and made a nest. It was fun purchase something so traditional for Jacob. I may have been more excited about it that him. I wanted to keep it looking nice as long as possible and spent 20 minutes talking him into cooking on foil!
By the way, for Mother's Day I bought a tool bench and lots of peg board to organize the garage. Jacob's job was to get the organizing done. He did a great job and I love walking out there now instead of dreading trying to find something.
