First Day of School!!!

Jacob had a long drill weekend and is headed to drill instead of work this Tuesday.

Zach and Tirzah are just as excited to have the house and mom to themselves. The first day of school was actually also the hottest day of the summer-100 degrees.
Zach is looking a little sad here, but he soon got over it.
This is the third year of planning the neighborhood bike parade. We do it the weekend after school starts and this year it was too hot. It was good to see the ice cream truck waiting at the end. Most of the bikers didn't do the second half of the route. They all just stopped at the ice cream truck.
